After 16 years working in sales office roles, rising to commercial manager, Tim decided it was time for a change and travelled widely until settling into a seasonal lifestyle in France and Switzerland. An avid skier, he became a chauffeur for transfers to ski resorts, completing in excess of 1000 journeys over 7 winters, 100's of which were undertaken in typical alpine conditions. Snow/ice covered roads, white-outs, night time snow, unploughed mountain lanes and sub zero temperatures down to below -20 were regularly part of a normal working week. Tim has also driven extensively in Australia, New Zealand, USA & Taiwan and ridden motorcycles in India & Chile, giving him a deeply practiced and unrivalled breadth of driving experience. Tim has previously been a keen road motorcyclist, a motocross racer and slalom waterski competitor. He now enjoys waterskiing and cycling as his main summer pastimes.
