Licensing

We are licensed with Huntingdonshire District Council & comprehensively insured for Hire & Reward. We have discreet plating status with our local authority, therefore our cars do not display external licence plates or advertising. All local councils are always happy to confirm the details of all operators in their licensing district.

Bookings

Bookings can be made by phone, e-mail or text and are confirmed to you by e-mail and text. It is the client's responsibility to check all the details of confirmation. Any errors will be billed at the sum of £1.80 per mile if any traveling has been incurred.

Payments

Invoices are issued at least a week before travel. Payment can be made by bank transfer or by cheque in advance. We also accept cash on day of travel or card payments using our mobile card terminal. Cheques should arrive a few days before travel. Regular account status for businesses/executives are available which include additional benefits & terms apply. We are not VAT registered and therefore all prices quoted are VAT inclusive.

Waiting time

The first 15 minutes of waiting is free of charge for any pick up. Should there be a requirement for a driver to wait or stop at the client’s request during a journey or if the client is over 15 minutes late for the booking, waiting will be charged at £28 per hour in quarter hour increments or part thereof.  Waiting charges apply for flight arrivals from 1hr after landing.

Meet & Greet

Upon an arrival at an airport/seaport or similar we provide a full 'meet & greet' service. The driver will text you upon your arrival in the terminal or other arrival point and advise you of their location and any further required details. We charge £16 for an in-terminal airport meet & greet to cover the car parking and the extra time involved. All costs will be included in our quotation.

Traffic & Journey Times

We monitor live traffic flows and route updates to check for the most efficient route for your journey, but Revolution are not responsible for any unforseen events such as congestion, incidents or other problems which lead to delays.

We will be pleased to advise on suitable journey times but the actual departure time is decided by the client.

Cancellations

There is no charge made for a cancellation given with over 24 hours notice. For 8 to 24 hours notice there is a 20% fee. For under 8 hours notice we charge 50% of the fare. For established business accounts, cancellation charges are waived except where a flight is cancelled after the original take off time.

Lost property & damages

We always check the car for any left items immediately after a drop off but sometimes things get tucked away out of sight. Any left items can either be posted to you with P&P charged at cost or when our schedule allows we can deliver to you at a charge of £1.50 per mile. For spillages of food or drink a valeting charge will be made. We prefer clients not to eat/drink other than the supplied water etc but we understand where the need arises such as after long haul flights.

Any damage to vehicle interior/exterior will be charged.

Vehicles

Our primary vehicle, is a sumptuous 68 plate long wheelbase BMW 7 series  which has leading edge technology especially in the areas of safety, efficiency and ride comfort. Standard equipment includes air suspension and reclining rear seats. Upgrades fitted to our car include interior trim, rear window blinds and door closing assistance, so no door shutting noise to disturb the family on those early starts. On very rare occasions, advised in advance, we may substitute this vehicle with another luxury vehicle if the need arises. We network closely with a small number of associates in the area and subject to availability, we can supply multiple executive luxury vehicles including long wheelbase BMW 7, Mercedes S Class and Audi A8.

General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

In response to the new regulation above regarding businesses, we have reviewed our internal policies  and procedures to enhance the protection of your personal data.

The data we collect from you is only that which that is given to enable us to provide our ground transportation services.

This data is not given to any third parties unless they are an associate/sub-contractor whom you have agreed with us can provide this service on our behalf.

All data is stored only on password protected devices and used on Google based password protected email only which is accessable solely by the owner.

Data from enquiries received via our website is deleted from this platform once replied to by via Google based secure email.

Any text history from liaising with clients is deleted as soon as possible after each completed transfer. Personal contact numbers of persons transported on behalf of an organisation are also deleted.

Full disclosure of your data held by us will be given on request and be deleted when instructed.

We also carry out housekeeping and delete information as it becomes irrelevant and also when over a year old.

We will only email you for marketing when major changes to our operation occur which may effect the services we provide.
